GASP-tech is a creative-project subgroup of GASP for graduate students who want to learn or improve computer programming and linux administration skills. Interested graduate students are given space to develop web applications which have some general use to grad students. GASP-tech serves as a pedagogical tool for interested graduate students, as programming skills are extremely useful for everyday academic tasks such as data manipulation, data collection, and project management.
